CAREER SUMMARY

From 1983 – 2001, I served as the principal of two production companies — SOTA Productions & BillyBob Productions.  I have created entertainment programming and promotional spots for broadcast television and have also produced & directed commercials promotional campaigns, marketing videos and live events for Condé Nast, Time Inc., Merrill Lynch, The Daily News, The United Way, Disney, Parade Magazine, McGraw-Hill and Goldman Sachs.

WHERE’S THE PARTY?  ABC-TV — Late Night One Hour Comedy/Variety Show

Responsible for hiring production staff, performers and writers along with negotiating all fees and contracts.  Wrote & directed remote segments and supervised editing of each piece.  Managed staff of more than fifty people and met all deadlines and budgets.  The show received positive reviews along with solid ratings.

Supervised production, post-production and contributed written material for over six nationally & internationally televised programs (network, syndication and cable).  Functioned in the same capacity on numerous internationally televised pay-per-view events.  Wrote and developed pilots for FOX and USA.

Awards

It’s The Weekend received a National Telly Award for Best Comedy Show and won in the same category at The Houston Film & Video Festival.  The Writers Guild Of America selected my original screenplay, Out of The Rough, for its prestigious staged reading program at Lincoln Center.  Out of The Rough also won the Best Original Screenplay award at the Houston Film Festival.

EDUCATION

ITHACA COLLEGE B.A. Degree, Political Science, Minor: Communications.  Cum Laude, Dean’s List, Vice-President Student Government.  Sports editor, columnist and writer for The Ithacan, an independent weekly student newspaper.
